Multimedia Specialist

Ballistic Digital has an opening for a Multimedia Specialist to support a government program in Williamsburg, VA.

You’ll be working along-side other multimedia professionals as well as Instruction Designers (ISD’s) to deliver high quality products to our customer. Your creative aptitude and technical ability will be welcomed as we take on the challenges that 2022 has in store for us.

Security clearance:

  • Top Secret/SCI with polygraph

What we need from you:

  • A current/active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a digital design field (Graphic Design, Animation, Web Development), or equivalent work experience.
  • Required professional work experience with interactive media.
  • Must be highly motivated, creative and able to work well alone and as part of a team
  • Must have ability to translate complex technical concepts into modern and stylish visuals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Must be proficient with the Adobe Software Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Software Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
  • Fundamental knowledge of web development languages including: HTML, JavaScript and CSS.

Extra points awarded if:

· Game Engine experience (Unity, Unreal)

· 3d development (Maya/Max)

· Joomla development (Front and Backend)

· SharePoint administration

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in either English, Education, Programing, or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be highly motivated, creative and able to work well alone and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, assigning tasks to other developers and designers as needed.
  • Must have exposure to the Adobe Software Suite (Photoshop, Acrobat).
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Software Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
  • Willingness to learn limited web development languages including: HTML, JavaScript and CSS.

Virtual Reality (VR)/Extended Reality(XR) Technical Expert

Ballistic Digital has an exciting opportunity for an Virtual Reality (VR)/Extended Reality(XR) Technical Expert to support a government program in Williamsburg, VA.

This position is part of an exciting new team being set-up to push the limits of Virtual Reality in the training realm. You will provide deep technical expertise in virtual/extended reality, augmented/spatial, and mixed realities – to support the application of state of the art VR/XR technologies and experiences of training.

Security clearance:

  • Secret clearance with TS eligibility.

What we need from you:

  • Working with the Lab Manager to troubleshoot and manage XR/VR-related equipment, including complex systems involving an array of user-worn sensors and displays, environmental inputs for mixed reality, wireless communications, and server management.
  • Supporting the Government client's efforts to apply XR/VR to training, including assisting with delivery of learning enabled by XR/VR.
  • Staying current with the latest trends and advancements in XR/VR, leveraging that knowledge to recommend suitable solutions that will meet Government requirements.
  • Assisting the Government in security accreditation of XR/VR systems for classified use.
  • Working with the Lab Manager to ensure coverage of the lab during scheduled hours.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) out of the last five (5) years of working experience in the field of XR/VR.
  • Experience serving in a small project-oriented team to create custom AR and VR experiences for enterprise use cases, including for adult learning.
  • Collaborate actively with the Government client and other developers and experts to evaluate project needs and to devise creative solutions.
  • Familiarity with the Government's security processes.
  • Experience crafting intuitive and engaging user interactions for both novice and experienced adult users.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a self-motivated work ethic in working in a dynamic environment and handling multiple technical and administrative tasks.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude, sound judgment, and solid situational awareness.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate creativity in finding solutions to abstract design problems, particularly with respect to translating real-world concepts and interactions into XR.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks through self-directed time management and organization.

Ballistic Digital has an exciting opportunity for a Communications Specialist to support a government program in Williamsburg, VA.

This position is part of a team of instructors and technical experts. You will help craft the customers messaging, provide project management, and administrative support.

Security clearance:

What we need from you:

  • Work with the customer and their various teams to record and disseminate branding.
  • Provided project management and a willingness to assist .
  • Learn, adapt, and remain update/current with customers internal processes/procedures.
